Claims

In the unfortunate event of having to make a claim for lost or damaged produce. Please complete the downloadable form and email to claims@kphtransport.co.nz with as much information as possible.

Please be aware:

All goods are carried at ‘Limited Carrier’s Risk’ pursuant to Part 5, Subpart 1 of the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 (Act) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The maximum liability of KPHT in respect of any one unit (as defined by the Act) of Goods carried by KPH Transport under ‘Limited Carrier’s Risk’ is limited to the lesser of $2,000.00 or the amount of the actual loss or damage suffered by the Customer.

Where the Goods are carried at ‘Owner’s Risk’, KPH Transport shall have no liability to the Customer whatsoever.

Insurance of the Goods is the sole responsibility of the Customer not of KPH Transport.

Cash Sales


All our depots have the ability to take cash sales via EFTPOS. Please discuss with the area manger at your local depot for information.



POD Request


POD (Proof of Delivery) requests are sent to our ticketing system so these can be handled in an efficient manner and returned to you as soon as possible.

Please give as much information as possible when making these requests:

Con Note Number
- the con note number is generally starts with KN or KC.
Consignment Date
- the date the consignment was sent.
Consignee
- who was the consignment sent to.
Product Details
- what products were on the consignment, how many of each and what crates/cartons.

Web Booking


Please contact the area manager regarding setting this up or email the address below, someone will be in touch with you. Web Booking of your consignments speeds up the process and increases the accuracy of the transaction. You can also down load the POD's from you consignments yourself.

Future enhancements will allow product tracking.

EDI Import


Please contact the email below, this will go into our ticketing system.

The EDI process is ideally suited for more than 6-8 consignments a day. The basic concept is you email us a .csv file, we process this and these consignments are imported into our system. The button below gives your a sample file to get you started. Please feel free to email us a sample to work with, we will follow up with you.

If you have web booking access as well, you can download, con notes, Tickets / Labels, and gather your POD's from this location.

General Freight


General freight services for food related FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) is available but is limited to freight that does not impact our core business.

As a leading produce carrier, food safety is a priority and general freight that jeopardises this is unable to be transported. Please discuss with your local area manager for more information.
